The Child Jesus Parish is in the district\u00a0of Boeung Tumpun, in the South of Phnom Penh, to the following address:\u00a0#98 Road 10BT \u2013 Sonsom Kosal \u2013 Boeung Tompun \u2013 Mean Chey \u2013 Phnom Penh<\/em>.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Comprising about 400 parishioners, it is the pastoral center of\u00a0South\u00a0<\/span>Phnom Penh. It brings together the most activity described in section \u1791\u1791\u17bd\u179b\u1794\u17b6\u1793\u1780\u17b6\u179a\u17a2\u1789\u17d2\u1785\u17be\u1789<\/a><\/i>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0of this site, including two student centers, a kindergarten, a school for autistic children, and\u00a0various\u00a0religious communities and lay missionaries nearby, etc…<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From a historical perspective, the parish celebrated its 25 years late November 2019. During these 25 years, the parish has gradually expanded. The\u00a0foundation stone\u00a0<\/span>laying\u00a0<\/span>ceremony<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0of the present church was held on December 17, 2006 and its consecration on January 6, 2008, on Epiphany’s day.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Father Damien Fahrner is a French priest from the MEP missionary society. Arrived in Cambodia in September, 2011, he stayed at the Boeung Tompun parish with Father Mario Ghezzi for his first year of language study. He then went one year to Kdol Leu and finally to the Major Seminary of Phnom Penh for his third year of language study. During his time at the Major Seminary, he was also coming every weekend to help Father Vincent and Father Gustavo, especially by celebrating the Sunday Mass in the Tu Taing Church. After serving as a vicar at the Kompong Saom and in the North Phnom Penh Pastoral Sectors, Fr. Damien was assigned as the 3rd parish priest of the Child Jesus Parish in October, 2016.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
